Racine (/ r ə ˈ s iː n, r eɪ-/ rə-SEEN, ray-) is a city in and the county seat of Racine County, Wisconsin, United States. It is located on the shore of Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Root River, situated 22 miles (35 km) south of Milwaukee and 60 miles (97 km) north of Chicago.

- Carol K. New York City, NY 443 contributions. Unlike anything else. Actually, I visited before the date I mentioned, but it was memorable. The factory and office complex is one of the most amazing architectural experiences available in the USA.

Having visited a lot of FLW sites in the previous week, we were pleased that there was a tour of Wingspread on a day we could get there - otherwise, coming from the UK, we were unlikely to have another chance.
