Known as “The Queen City” because of its 350 restored heritage buildings from the silver rush days, Nelson packs a lot of punch for any visitor and is one of the best places to visit in BC.
The Nelson visitor centre is at the end of Baker St in Railtown, a historic building from the Canadian Pacific Railway. Visit this restored train station, and get all the info you need from the tourist information centre.
