Dec 17, 2016 · Fiona Bigwood and Anders Dahl, both Olympic dressage riders, have sold their renovated manor house Bourne Hill and bought Brantridge Park, a former royal residence. They plan to transform the estate into another top equestrian facility.
Brantridge Park is a former royal residence in Balcombe, West Sussex, England. It was owned by Princess Alice, and her husband Alexander Cambridge, the first Earl of Athlone.
The 1919 Plan of the Brantridge Park Estate shows a landscaped park with a North Lodge connected to a large house with outbuildings, situated in the southern end of the property, by a serpentine drive which ends at a South Lodge. The whole estate was about 185 acres.
