The Evo cost more, but looks more attractive, and has 1" tweeter and two 6.5" midrange/bass woofers. The 9.6 has two 8" bass/midrange drivers, 2" midrange doom and 1" tweeter. So, much more drivers area on the 9.6.
Feb 11, 2017 · If you want a more laid back sound go with Wharfdale. If you want clear and detailed but not too bright go with Kef. If want something a little brighter go with Paradigm. Whichever speaker you chose will do much better with a sub. Bedroom: Kef Q100, SVS SB-2000, Denon AVR-S710W, PS3, Panasonic 50" Plasma.
Nov 22, 2023 · Don't get me wrong - the Model 5s aren't a bad speaker by any means, but the Lintons do edge them out in the performance dept. a little bit. The EVOs - which I had for over 2 years - are also excellent speakers. Ordering all three and sending back the losers is the best approach to this conundrum. Apr 27, 2019 · Wharfedale MFM-7 performance. I recently purchased a used pair of Wharfedale MFM-7's at a local Thrift store. I placed these Wharfedale MFM-7's in our upstairs A/V room. I have an older Denon AVR-2801. I had some new Monster Cable XPMS 18 gauge wire and put on some gold banana plug connectors.

Nov 4, 2018 · My thoughts on the Wharfedale Diamond 225. Sold my house recently and moved into an apartment. I realized in this setting I can't do home theater properly so I decided to switch to a 2 channel system. Picked up a Cambridge Audio integrated and the 225's. I've had 10.1's, 220's, and Dentons previously but all with different gear and location.

Would love a comparison (or opinions) of the X-CS (only a 2 way) versus the Aura line. For LCR the cost is: GR-Research X-CS Encore $4,000. Wharfedale Aura 2 $5,250. Wharfedale Aura 3 $6,000. Wharfedale Aura 4 $7,500.
