Greg Gransden (2016) A group of amateur climbers set out to re-enact one of the most daring feats in Canadian mountaineering history - the 1916 ascent of Bugaboo Spire in BC’s Purcell Mountain Range. Using antique mountaineering equipment, they learn first hand about the hardships and dangers faced by climbers a hundred years ago.
Greg Gransden is a writer and filmmaker based in Montreal. When he’s not climbing, trail running or practising martial arts, he’s dreaming of his next film project. It could be a feature film set in Afghanistan, a madcap comedy short or an outdoor adventure documentary.
