Narrated by Jeremy Hawke (in the manner of Edgar Lustgarten’s “Scotland Yard” tales) it tells the story of how an advertisement in the personal column brings elderly Dorothy Winters (Ursula Jeans) to town with her Salviani painting and leads her to an adventure she could never have imagined.

Old fashioned British second feature/short that has a presenter introducing and summing up the story. The story itself is quite good as a con man tries to deceive an elderly lady out of a valuable painting with the old 'lock them in the safe but switch them because you've got a second key' trick.
