Hanover & District Hospital (HDH) works with its partners to provide a full range of primary acute care hospital services and selected secondary services to meet the needs of the population of Hanover and the surrounding rural townships.

The Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a variety of x-ray and ultrasound exams to service in-patients, out-patients and emergency patients. They perform approximately 19,000 examinations per year.
Hanover & District Hospital’s Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a physician on-site. HDH has been experiencing higher volumes and wait times in the Emergency Department.
What can we do in hospital? Connect in-person with patient or by phone, to provide support at the hospital by enhancing communication; advocacy; referrals to SOAHAC services; attend rounds; help to understand healthcare plan; participate in discharge plan.

Current Practice – Anesthesia, Emergency, Family Medicine, Inpatient Care. Growing up as a local farm boy. I graduated from Walkerton’s Sacred Heart High School in 1990. Fourteen years, three Universities, 27 moves and three cars later, I returned to my old stomping grounds.
