Apply for PMQs and Ubique SQs (via the barrack warden). Stay in the shacks until you got something. The SQs are supposed to be for one person but nobody cares if you live two people in them, and they are fully furnished and have storage space (and nice place, at least they used to be).
If you have dependants you have a chance, get your paperwork in as soon as you get a posting message. Definitely look on the market to see what's available and be ready to rent/buy because getting a PMQ is pretty much a coin toss. If you don't have dependants you will literally never get a PMQ.
If you are married and/or have children you have a good chance of getting a PMQ otherwise expect over a year wait. They are building new housing for the SAR techs currently, which should hopefully free up some housing slots.
This is a community group not a swap and sell group ( facebook is loaded with that). You can share upcoming events ( MFRC ,PSP ,PMQ and base organised fundraiser.) But you cant not physically sell anything on this group.
Military housing is available at 27 locations across Canada. CFHA allocates DND housing to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis according to household size and availability, as per DND policies.
