This was the result of higher crude oil costs (+25.1 ¢/L ), higher wholesale margins (+5.5 ¢/L) and higher retail margins (+0.2 ¢/L) plus applicable taxes (+6.9 ¢/L, or 2.2 ¢/L federal carbon tax [2] plus 4.7 ¢/L HST ).
