  2. Basically $1000 of Spam which I’ll block if I don’t get any solid tips soon. My experience so far is that his newsletter talks about trends and builds up to a must invest scenario that leads to another video where it normally costs $1995 to get the tip. The tip may may be good—-or may not.

That’s a loan you give the bank and you can call it back anytime you want by writing a check or withdrawing the money.

  5. Aug 19, 2021 · Altucher believes that smart people should not buy homes. Here is a condensed version of the reasons he cites: He does not believe that a house is an investment. Once you sign the check for a down payment, it is money that is gone forever. He cites data that says housing has returned 0.4% per year from 1890 to 2004.

  7. Essentially when you’re purchasing the Altucher Report all you’re doing is subscribing to a newsletter that’s edited by James Altucher. Yes, James does send out investment picks & tips as promised – but ultimately these are investments that pose risk, they are not guaranteed “free money” like you’re led to believe from the promotions of the newsletter.
