Tshemba’s lead founder, Neil Tabatznik, was approached by the tracker of the drive to help with the slow build of his daughter’s satellite primary school. Neil agreed to build the entire school, but still wanted to do more.

Mar 9, 2018 · Neil Tabatznik (BA 1972) practised as a barrister in the UK for 15 years, specialising in criminal defence advocacy, and then moved to Canada. There he was Chairman of Genpharm Pharmaceuticals from 1993 to 1999, before founding Arrow Canada, also a pharmaceutical company.

I stayed away for 36 years and cut all ties with the country. However, seventeen years ago, I returned to South Africa, for personal reasons: my son’s bar mitzvah. With family dispersed across North America, Europe and Australia, South Africa felt like a central place to congregate.
