Reversible Errors is a 2004 American made-for-television crime thriller film based on the 2002 novel of the same name by Scott Turow. It was directed by Mike Robe, who previously directed Scott Turow's The Burden of Proof, and stars Tom Selleck and William H. Macy.
This is a two-part CBS made for TV mini-series and a fine adaptation of a complex Scott Turow novel. The film begins with a brutal, cold-blooded triple murder. Sergeant Larry Starczek (Tom Selleck) heads the investigation, with his lover, attorney Muriel Wynn (Monica Potter) taking a close interest.
On July 2, a giant alien mothership enters orbit around Earth and deploys several dozen saucer-shaped 'destroyer' spacecraft that quickly lay waste to major cities around the planet.
