  2. No you can't link to a patreon page from your Steam game. If you submit a game for review with a patreon link, it'll be rejected asking you to remove the link. If you add later chances are you'll get banned when Steam finds out, so don't do it.

  3. Patreon pays you for working on stuff, not for releasing stuff. So it's best for long-running projects which are never truly finished but still allow you to release piecemeal versions of it in order to keep people interested.
