  3. St. Ignatius College Preparatory, colloquially referred to by Bay Area locals as SI, is a private, Catholic preparatory school in the Jesuit tradition, serving the San Francisco Bay Area since 1855.

  4. Principal. Michelle Nevin Levine was appointed SI's 16th principal in July 2019. She joined the school in 1995 and, prior to becoming principal, was SI's director of counseling.

  8. In 1969, students left their old high school behind and moved into a new 11.4-acre college preparatory campus in the Sunset District. The school became coeducational in 1989 and now stands as one of the region’s leading schools.
