The Value of a Jewish Education. VTT students come to appreciate the value of Jewish traditions, learn to communicate using the richness of Hebrew language, develop a vibrant connection to the State of Israel, experience the joy of Jewish practice and develop a uniquely Jewish lens on the world.
Chicago is the only Jewish community in North America with a central agency dedicated exclusively to community-wide Torah education. For three generations, the ATT has partnered with schools, principals, teachers and parents to support education, funding and advocacy for Jewish day schools.
Founded as a "heder" or after school program in 1934, Vancouver Talmud Torah is a preschool to seventh grade traditional community Jewish day school. We are dedicated to producing well-rounded, well-prepared and spiritually grounded students who have a decided advantage as they face the increasing challenges of high school and university.
It is where friends become family and families become community. VTT is where students will have joyful Jewish experiences to set the blueprint for a meaningful life. We educate students from ages 3 to 13 in a warm, supportive, loving, encouraging and Jewishly-informed environment.
