Nov 7, 2023 · Sooke School District is seeking more space for its rapidly increasing student body. Last year, 680 new students enrolled, which puts the district-wide headcount at 13,767 students.
We currently have 326 students attending Sooke Elementary. We have 15 divisions from kindergarten to Grade 5. Enrolment has been increasing steadily over the last few years as more people are moving to the area for affordable housing.
Sooke School District 62 is a school district in British Columbia, Canada. It includes the suburbs of Victoria known as the Western Communities (or Westshore) as well as the mostly rural areas around the sea-side villages of Sooke and Port Renfrew.
