Fayetteville (/ ˈ f eɪ ə t v ɪ l, ˈ f ɛ d v ɪ l / FAY-ət-vil, FED-vil) [8] is a city in and the county seat of Cumberland County, North Carolina, United States. [9] It is best known as the home of Fort Liberty , a major U.S. Army installation northwest of the city.
As a local I'll say there are plenty of safe neighborhoods in the Fayetteville area. I grew up in town but now live in the Eastover (I-95) area and things are pretty chill over here. Only had my car rummaged through at night once in the last ten years (I left it unlocked.)
