Carmela at one point says to Tony, "you were my GUY!" and it's sad because you can tell she just doesn't think that way now. Another hard part is that as the mob traditions started to crumble, it became harder to justify what started to look like sleazy, ordinary cheating.

One of the funniest moments in the show is when Carm starts getting annoying with the digging into the Adriana disappearance, talking about hiring a private detective, and then the very next scene is Tony rushing to the Bing asking Silvio to go bribe the building inspector, just to keep Carm busy.
