Heidtman alleged that he was sexually molested on at least six occasions at the school by Reverend Thomas Bennett between 2002 and 2003. Bennett died in 2008. The lawsuit alleged that Campbell and the diocese became aware of Bennett's molestation of Heidtman, but failed to take any action.
