    This is a list of the former Circuit City locations. This list includes locations operated under Wards Company, the original name of Circuit City. The former corporate headquarters of the chain was located in Richmond, VA, at 9950 Mayland Dr.

    Alabama

    •Anniston - Store #3280 (Anniston) - 704 S Quintard Ave - Closed in December 2008. Currently a Dollar General. •Birmingham - Circuit City Express - Riverchase Galleria - 2000 Riverchase Galleria Ste 905 - Closed in 1997. •Birmingham - Brook Highland Plaza - Planned store, nearly completed but never opened due to bankruptcy. •Dothan - Store #3283 (Dothan) - Shops on the Circle - 2821 Montgomery Hwy - Closed in March 2009. Currently a Big Lots. •Hoover - Store #827 (Hoover Superstore) - The Centre at Riverchase, then Patton Creek Shopping Center - Originally opened in 1985 at 160 Centre at Riverchase, moved in 2004 to 4351 Creekside Ave. Closed in March 2009. Riverchase location is currently split between an Auto Zone and a Guitar Center. Patton Creek location was later a Buy Buy Baby (Opened on April 27, 2009, closed in June 2023), currently vacant. •Huntsville - Store #855 (Huntsville Superstore) - The Westchase Plaza, then MidCity District - Originally opened in 1985 at 4321 University Dr NW, moved before 1997 to 5900 University Dr NW - Closed in March 2009. Westchase Plaza location was later Railroad Bazaar Music (opened around 1999, closed on December 31, 2014), currently a Harbor Freight Tools and Badcock Home Furniture & More. MidCity District location was later an Earth Fare supermarket (opened in May 2010, closed in February 2020), currently split between an Urban Air Trampoline Park and a Chipotle. •Irondale - Store #829 (Irondale Superstore) - 7720 Ludington Ln - Opened in 1985, moved in February 2007 to newly built Trussville location. Currently Lovelady Thrift Store. •Mobile - Store #856 (Mobile Superstore) - Festival Centre - 3725 Airport Blvd - Opened in 1985, closed in March 2009. Currently being used by a software/computer developer. •Mobile - unknown address - Wards Company •Montgomery - Store #860 (Montgomery Superstore) - Eastdale Mall - 500 Eastdale Loop. Opened in 1985, closed between 1998 and 2008. Currently a church. •Montgomery - Store #3846 (East Chase) - East Chase Market Center - 7951 Eastchase Pkwy - Closed in March 2009. Currently a JOANN Fabrics. •Prattville - Store #4307 (Prattville) - Prattville Town Center - 2730 Legends Pkwy - Opened in 2008, closed in March 2009. Currently an Office Depot. •Spanish Fort - Spanish Fort Town Center - 31000 Bass Pro Dr - Planned store, fully constructed but never opened due to bankruptcy. Currently an Urban Air Trampoline Park. •Trussville - Store #829 (Trussville) - Tutwiler Farm Promenade - 3555 Roosevelt Blvd - Opened in February 2007 to replace Irondale location, closed in December 2008. Currently a Hobby Lobby (opened late 2011). •Gilbert - Store #3580 (Gilbert) - Santan Village - 2817 S Market St - Opened in late 2005, closed in December 2008. Currently a Big Lots (opened May 2011). •Goodyear - Store #3760 (Goodyear) - Goodyear Centerpointe - 15433 W McDowell Rd - Opened in 2006, closed in December 2008. Later a MovieLounge (Opened in 2012, closed in October 2017), currently a Spartan Adventure Park (opened in 2020). •Jonesboro - Store #3285 (Mall at Turtle Creek) - The Mall at Turtle Creek - 3000 E Highland Dr Ste 400 - Closed in March 2009. Later a Best Buy (closed in 2020). Site was destroyed by a tornado on March 28, 2020 and is now an empty lot. •Little Rock - Store #4505 (Little Rock West II) - Bowman Curve II - 109 Markham Park Dr - Closed in March 2009. Currently a Goodwill. •North Little Rock - Store #4506 (North Little Rock Superstore) - McCain Mall - 4339 Warden Dr - Closed in March 2009.
