Apr 19, 2018 · Despite two problems listed as cons, Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams is good as its predecessor. I would consider the second installment as the last good film of the series until Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over & Spy Kids: All the Time in the World tarnished the series.
To its credit, "Spy Kids 2" does indeed display a lot of creativity and imagination, and that makes it a lot better than most family movies Hollywood makes. However, while the first "Spy Kids" was a fun romp that kids AND adults would enjoy, this sequel isn't as much fun.
