Jun 9, 2021 · The landfill will once again operate during regular hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The landfill is able to re-open as part of Phase One in Ontario's Roadmap to Reopen.
Feb 23, 2022 · On Feb. 26, the county-owned Salford landfill will reopen for normal business hours on Saturdays. The landfill temporarily closed its waste-drop off services on Saturdays during the modified step two of Ontario’s reopening plan.

May 19, 2020 · SALFORD - Salford's Waste Management Facility will be re-opening today. The facility will re-open with regular business hours to residential and commercial users. The County asks customers to not make non-essential trips to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.
