Jun 28, 2022 · St. Mary’s Church has been a part of Helsingborg since the 1400’s. The Church is home to an altarpiece from 1450, a pulpit from the 1600’s, and many other treasures, including an epitaph to the daughter of astronomer Tycho Brahe. The church is open every day between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
In lieu of a grand cathedral, Helsingborg has this modest church filled with treasures. It's one of the best examples we know of Danish Gothic architecture. It actually dates from the 14th century, but it took a century to finish it.
