   Did the candidate stand the test of time?

   • I re-watched The Candidate both in honor of the current election cycle and because I was curious to see if it stood the test of time - it did. Redford is exceptionally good in his best understated way as a handsome and idealistic candidate for the US Senate, but it's the supporting cast and indie-ish directing that really sell the movie.
