Programme structure. The MBChB is a six-year programme including Year One (Part I) of the Bachelor of Health Sciences or the Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science (105 points). In Year One (Part I) one 15-point course is required from the General Education Schedule approved for this degree.

Applications will be accepted after the closing date for most programmes, but will be considered on the basis of academic merit, if places are available.
The application process should be started as soon as possible so there is enough time to apply for a visa.
Applications must be received no later than the published closing date and no later than 1 Decemeber to be considered for special admission. Applications received after 1 Decemeber will only be considered if places are available.
You must attend all scheduled activities week one of the MBChB. If you do not attend your first week, your place in the programme will be forfeited and offered to another applicant on the waitlist. You will learn more about key assessments and activities during the first week of class.
