Falls Church 7054 Haycock Road. In 1969 Virginia Tech launched its first northern Virginia graduate center in a Reston, Va., farmhouse, not far from Falls Church. Having outgrown that space by 1973, Virginia Tech moved to shared space with the University of Virginia on the first floor of the Dulles International Airport Gateway 1 building.
With facilities, faculty, graduate degrees, and research in the region since 1969, Virginia Tech has a long history in the Washington, D.C., area. The university offers 45 graduate degree and certificate programs and has facilities in seven Northern Virginia locations.
