Dec 20, 2023 · SAN ANTONIO -- The McCombs family has purchased a share of the San Antonio Spurs, returning after 30 years to the organization its patriarch helped establish and once owned.
The San Antonio Spurs became the first defending champions since the 2011–12 Dallas Mavericks to be eliminated in the first round of the NBA playoffs. The Spurs acquired four-time All-Star power forward LaMarcus Aldridge and veteran big man David West during the off-season.
