first the good news- the Novotel Centre is a great location, right at the heart of Toronto. The bad news- the Rainforest Cafe is at Yorkdale Mall, about 13 km away in the suburbs. Somewhat good news- Yorkdale Mall is on the subway line, but it's a good half hour trip from downtown.
