Fort Eisenhower, formerly known as Fort Gordon and Camp Gordon, is a United States Army installation established southwest of Augusta, Georgia in October 1941.
Fort Gordon – also referred to as Camp Gordon – is one of the oldest military establishments, dating since 1917. It is spread over four different counties in Georgia – Columbia, Jefferson, Richmond and McDuffie. It consists of multiple components and represents the home of the US Army Signal Corps.
