OP's screenshot is a pretty normal Russia game though, hardly anything insane when you are breezing through 1/1/1 steppe land. I believe you are referring to the starting event and that gives you 1 diplomat and %15 ccr, not 20.

It depends on the west (And the Ukrainians of course), but if the west decides that it wants Ukraine to win they will win. Plus Russia has always desired western expansion in order to plug up gaps that the European armies have invaded from. Napoleon, Hitler, etc etc. Give some breathing room for Moscow and St Petersburg.
