beautiful old lighthouse right across the street from the beach. There is 30 minute free parking at beach. You can park the car and walk around the grounds of the lighthouse and then walk the beach. Beach is gorgeous. We went in May to cold to swim, but we could see the seals from a distance.

As a summer resident of Chatham, I know the community. The Lighthouse, its beach and the overlook are beautiful. Parking is indeed difficult but not impossible as most people only stay for a few minutes. Since the lighthouse faces the East, you see beautiful sunrises looking toward Portugal.

This is a great place to stop and see one of the beautiful beaches of Chatham. You can park and walk down to the beach or go across the street and see the light house. Nice spot if you are in the area!
