Located between 2 inward-facing, 50-foot glass-and-brick towers, the Crown Fountain is a reflecting pond made of stunning black granite. On the towers, videos show through the LED glass bricks, displaying a mixture of faces of about 1,000 Chicago residents, nature scenes, and 70 color-changing Color Kinetics that make for some spectacular shows.

Basically, the Crown Fountain is a pair of monoliths, in the southwest corner of Millennium Park, near E Monroe St, and along Michigan Ave. The main structures are really rear-projection screen,s of sorts (I think that the surface is really an LED, or similar, internal-projection surface, like a wall of adjacent very large TV monitors), with a fountain, over a reflecting pool.
