Apr 8, 2024 · There are also analog inserts associated with each mic/line input, which allow additional processors to be inserted, before the DA converters. Dec 13, 2012 · Some pretext for those that haven't read my other posts - I use a DM4800 primarily as a live band recording and monitoring board using it as my audio interface to Protools via the FW card. It lives in a well-designed control room connected to a live room with 22 Mic inputs and a vocal iso booth with 2 mic inputs.
The DM-4800 provides 24 groups/busses, 12 aux-sends, and 16 assignable inserts (in addition to the channel inserts on rear panel). The mixer incorporates digital effects, including a digital reverb by TC Works. External effects can be looped through the assignable analog sends and returns (then assigned to channels).
