John Saxon Born Carmine Orrico in Brooklyn, NY he was the first child of dockworker, Antonio Orrico, and his wife, Anna Protettore. He developed an interest in acting while a student at New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn, and soon divided his time between his basic studies and drama training under the famed Stella Adler in Manhattan.
