Annabella Lwin is an Anglo-Burmese singer, songwriter and record producer who is best known as the original lead singer of the English new wave band 'Bow Wow Wow'. She began performing as a 13-year-old and courted a lot of controversy for the band's objectionable lyrics and provocative covers before being fired from the band abruptly years later.

Apr 1, 2024 · Bow Wow Wow was formed in 1980 by Malcolm McLaren, former manager of the Sex Pistols, and consisted of Lwin on vocals, Matthew Ashman on guitar, Leigh Gorman on bass, and David Barbarossa on drums. McLaren discovered Lwin while she was working at a local dry cleaner and was impressed by her voice and look.
