Joyce Hyser as ‘Terry’ and Terri Director Lisa Gottlieb includes all the obvious gags a girl pretending to be a guy would entail – the comical situation of going to the boys bathroom, being stuck in the gym locker room – but she also manages to get past the jokey premise, makes a believable lovelorn story for Terri and fills the film with likable, funny characters.
