8. One critic criticised British actor Lee Evans for having ‘the worst fake British accent’. Stand-up comic Lee Evans got one of his biggest film roles in There’s Something About Mary. While Evans was a familiar face to British audiences in 1998 thanks to his comedy, clearly his reputation didn’t reach everywhere.
