Oct 11, 2012 · #1. I have the DM-4800 mixer running through the firewire ad/da converter card. I use the board for automation, transport controls in Sonar X2, and for tracking (rarely for mixing). Right now I do not have the if-an/dm analog expansion card, and I am using lots of outboard mic pres/compressors.
Nov 14, 2012 · I have had 3 AN/DM cards on my Tascam DM4800 for a couple of years but only decided to put them to use in the last few days. I purchased 3 snakes and a 24 channel patch bay to give me 24 more ins which I have sent to the 2nd layer.
Jun 12, 2017 · Very versatile and can do many things. My main complaint is that the screens go wiggy but can be replaced with a part order from Tascam. So check the screen!!! A company named "2Seemy" make a Graphics card so you can display your screen on an external monitor.

It is a digital 64-channel console with 48 channels with full process equalizer, compressor, gate etc ... Works by layer 24 and has 12 auxiliary buses. You can work up to the 96-bit 24 khz. The type of synchronization can be MTC or LTC.
