If you're not ready to choose a program, apply to the Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Science or Faculty of Social Sciences to start at UVic as an "Undeclared" student. You can take a variety of classes to explore your options, then declare your program after one or more years of full-time study.

Feb 20, 2012 · The University of Victoria, in Victoria, BC, was founded in 1903 as Victoria College and affiliated with McGill University, offering first- and second-year arts and science courses towards a McGill degree. The opening of the University of British Columbia in 1915 resulted in the suspension of Victoria's university program.
