Nov 15, 2018 · This could be your issue. May need a new shifter assembly. It could also be a shift cable or range sensor (on trans) that need to be adjusted. The range sensor could also be defective. My thought is a scan tool reading transmission data could point you in the right direction. Jesus Saves.
Undo the nut onto the lower ball joint and break the hub assembly and the lower arm apart. Pull the hub away from the drive shaft, freeing the outermost end. Remove the drive shaft end from the gearbox. Fit the new drive shaft. Make sure you tighten the hub nuts up to the manufacturer's specified torque.
