Matthew Compton is a Colorado Springs native who has been composing, arranging, and conducting music for handbells since 2007 when he was in the eighth grade. He had his first composition published at the age of 15, making him one of the youngest ever published handbell composers.
Matthew is a writer and performer for the critically acclaimed duo Electric Guest who’s first album was produced by DangerMouse. Matthew has also written for and performed alongside: Portugal The Man, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Cold War Kids, The Pierces, Cursive, Joyo Velarde, Flea, Adam Green, Cyn and Har Mar Superstar.
