Paul Grimault (French:; 23 March 1905 – 29 March 1994) was one of the most important French animators. He made many traditionally animated films that were delicate in style, satirical, and lyrical in nature.

Il passe son enfance à Brunoy mais au début de la guerre de 1914, ses parents l'envoient en Normandie. En 1916, il s'installe à Paris avec sa famille.

Paul Grimault (1905-1994) was a leading French animator and director, known for The Curious Adventures of Mr. Wonderbird, The King and the Mockingbird and The Little Soldier. He co-founded the studio Les Gémeaux and worked on several shorts and features during World War II.
