Nikhil Sharma (born: November 4, 1991 (1991-11-04) [age 32]), better known online as Mumbiker Nikhil, is an Indian vlogging YouTuber who uploads his solo motorcycle trips to YouTube.
Nikhil Sharma was born in Mumbai to his mother, and father Anil Kumar Sharma. He was interested in vlog-videography since his childhood. Nikhil has a younger sister who works for Red Chillies Entertainment, an Indian film distribution company, as a graphics designer.
Nikhil would graduate in Hotel Management course from the Rizvi Institute of Studies and Research, Mumbai, he did not complete it. In 2007, he got a chance to work at Qatar Airways. He stayed at Doha, Qatar for six years, before returning to Mumbai again. This time, he tried to get a position in the field of acting, but he could not do so.
In July 2013, Nikhil began uploading vlog videos. He was passionate about motorcycle-bikes since the age of 15, so he combined them both and began to publish the thus resultant motovlogs. At first, he did not get any fame, of course, but as time passed and he learnt how to make quality content, his videos started grabbing attention.
He uploaded a vlog about his trip to Leh/Ladakh, which popularised his channel and brought him a huge amount of subscribers within a very short time. According to him, it proved to be a "turning point" in his biking career. Later, his famous video K2K, meaning Kanyakumari to Kashmir, was uploaded. It was when he did a straight trip from Kanyakumari, the southernmost point of mainland India, to Kashmir, the northernmost point of the same, on a KTM Duke 390 motorcycle. It was in this trip that he met vlogger Debashish Ghosh, who was also on a trip throughout the country on his BMW motorcycle.
