George Lekovic. Cinematographer: Polycarp. Djordjije Lekovic (born May 23rd, 1978 in Belgrade) is a Serbian born filmmaker, currently residing in New York City. Growing up in then communist Yugoslavia, Djordjije's interest in philosophy and psychology emerged early in his life.

Lekovic graduated from the College of Staten Island in 2004 with high honors (Magna Cum Laude + Elliot Rubenstein Memorial Award for Academic excellence). He started working soon after receiving his BA, but still completed a good part of the Media Department's MA curriculum.
CSI Alumnus George Lekovic (BA, Media Studies, ’04) is the main producer of Here and There, an award-winning film with parallels to his life. The movie recently finished brief runs at the Quad Theatre in Manhattan and Laemmle’s Music Hall in Los Angeles and is booked in 15 to 30 other cities.
