He may have fled the city after the traumatic misfire of Disco Demolition, but Mike Veeck feels to me like a true Chicagoan, someone who values friendship, family, and a good time.
Jeff is a documentary filmmaker whose debut film Marwencol won over two dozen awards, including the SXSW Grand Jury prize. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship for his second film, Spettacolo. He edited Morgan Neville's documentary "Won't You Be My Neighbor?". Most recently, he was nominated for a Grammy for co-directing and editing Shangri-La.
