Declan O'Brien (December 21, 1965 – February 16, 2022) was an American film and television writer and director. He was known as the director of three films in the Wrong Turn series (2009–2012) and he was the president of Fairport Filmworks.

Director-writer Declan O'Brien (Wrong Turn 3-5) passed away in February. Sad to see this news pop up on my feed earlier. Looks like he apparently passed away on February 16, 2022 at the age of 56 with no cause given. A few years back I powered through the Wrong Turn franchise and his entries were fun time killers.
Declan O'Brien was born on 21 December 1965. He was a writer and director, known for Alice Upside Down (2007), Rock Monster (2008) and Cyclops (2008). He died on 16 February 2022.
