Fanchon Royer (1902–1986) was an American film producer, active during the 1930s. She was one of the few woman producers in Hollywood during the era, associated with low-budget independent studios such as Mayfair Pictures.
Fanchon Royer. Producer: Death in the Air. A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Fanchon Royer attended school there and in Minneapolis and Chicago. She entered pictures via the "extra girl" route in 1916. She became editor of the trade magazine "Camera" before her 18th birthday and, for several years, did publicity and actors' management.

Fanchon Royer. In the 1930s Fanchon Royer was famous for being one of the few female producers in Hollywood, but she got her start in the industry during the silent era as a journalist, publicist, and producer. She was born Fanchon Pauline Royer on January 21, 1902 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Fanchon Royer (1902-1981) EVER SO OFTEN SOME ONE DRIVING "ONE OF OUR old Des Moines girls" down its west Sixth Avenue indicates a venerable red brick six-flatter to disclose: "And that's where you were born, Fanchón, right there in that building!"
Long forgotten by Hollywood, and by no means rich, Fanchón had found a place to be nourished by the communion of saints, nourishing others as well by her writing. She died in 1981. Fanchón Royer is the author of Padre Pro: Mexican Hero.
