Faridur Reza Sagar (born 22 February 1955) is a Bangladeshi writer and film producer. He is also the managing director of Impress Telefilm Ltd and Channel i. He was awarded the Bangla Academy Literary Award in 2005 and Ekushey Padak in 2015 by the government of Bangladesh.
Faridur Reza Sagar was born on February 22, 1955 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The eldest Son of famous Bangladeshi fiction writer Begum Rabeya Khatun and Director Fazlul Haque. Since childhood, he has been involved with many children-friendly TV Shows on Bangladesh Television.

Oct 12, 2018 · Channel i Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagar was taken to Singapore for better treatment after his survival of a chopper crash in Rajshahi's Godagari upazila on Thursday. The decision was jointly taken by the physician and Sagar’s family, said General Manager of Channel I program Amirul Islam.
