Biography. This noted stylist first gained international attention with his striking, stark black-and-white cinematography for Robert Bresson's "Les Anges du peche" (1943) and "Les Dames du Bois de Boulogne" (1945). Agostini also shot Jules Dassin's gritty "Rififi" in 1955.
