Q'orianka Waira Qoiana Kilcher (/ ˌ k ɒr i ˈ æ ŋ k ə ˈ k ɪ l tʃ ər /; born February 11, 1990) is an American actress. Her best known film roles are Pocahontas in Terrence Malick's 2005 film The New World, and Kaʻiulani in Princess Kaiulani (2009).
At fourteen years old, Q'orianka Kilcher emerged into the front ranks of young actresses with her portrayal of Pocahontas opposite Colin Farrell and Christian Bale in Terrence Malick's 'The New World', an epic about the encounter between English and North American societies in the early 1600s.
